“Seahorse” is the third piece in my Sea Creatures series. This drawing was supposed to be video taped but I didn't have things ready in time before my eagerness got the best of me and I had to finish it. I really like this one for its micro detail and transparent tail. Look for a lot of hidden things in this one. (You’ll find a lot if you use a magnifying glass.) There are also a lot of images that tie into the others in the series, so try to link them up.

 The inspiration for this one is something very close to  my own and my Mom's heart. When I told her about the project and the subject of the seahorse, she reminded me of a seahorse skeleton that she had in a frame-I remember it from when I was young.   It was perfect for a reference subject. She was so excited to see the finished piece! Remember to look for all kinds of little things in this one. They’re all over!
