"Full Circle" was given its name for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, the work itself could be said to have come full circle in its road to completion. I actually started this piece in my high school art class in the late eighties. It was put away and I hardly looked at it, let alone worked on it until more recently. My girlfriend mentioned that our high school was having an alumni art show (among other things) for its 50th year celebration and urged me to submit something. I really felt like it would be appropriate to finish this piece the show. I worked long and hard on it and  was able to finish it just in time. I wasn’t able to attend the show due to travel for work, but I was told that my art teacher that I admired so much for all these years, was in attendance and was impressed.

Be sure to look for the ball of faces, eye ball, baseball, donut, moons, planets and much more-they are some of the circles that gave this work it's name. Aside from the circle theme, there are more things hidden in it than I can even remember and/or find. In the upper left corner-a section that looks like a big mess of ink-I’ve hidden hundreds of objects such as a toaster, guitar amplifier, tv, mailbox, fishing pole, dresser, hotdog, and so many more.   There is also a community of tree people, all of whom represent interests in my life. There are people hiking, playing musical instruments, fishing, climbing, kissing, hunting, filming and so much more.  Have fun and good luck in finding everything!

“Full Circle" is a great example of my favorite type of art to do-Micro drawing. I used a small camera lens to draw all the tiny detail. I would hold it up to my eye and draw with just one eye. This style of art is very time consuming but thanks to my patience and love of hidden imagery, I have dedicated most of my time to this style.

**Another notable mention is that I had all four of my kids draw a small item or two in the mess of ink, as well.
